There’s a certain kind of moment worth waiting for - the kind that doesn’t happen often, but when it does, you remember it. A soft Sunday. A dress that feels like it was made for you. A fabric so beautifully imperfect you can’t stop touching it.
That’s where this began.

How It Started
It started with a length of hand block printed cotton - the kind you find in Jaipur, where the craft has lived for centuries and every print still begins the same way it always has: a hand, a wooden block, a colour, and no rush at all.
I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Not just the print itself, but everything behind it - the patience it takes, the tiny human imperfections that make every piece slightly different, the idea that something could be made slowly in a world that mostly isn’t.
So I started small. A handful of pieces, printed by hand, made to be worn - not saved for someday, but reached for often. That’s still the whole idea.

Why “Once In A Blue Moon”
A blue moon is rare - it happens, but not often, and when it does, people notice. That’s what I wanted this to feel like. Not another wardrobe full of things you forget you own, but pieces that feel a little rare. A little considered. Made once, in small batches, and then gone.
Nothing here is designed to be everywhere at once. If a print sells out, it doesn’t come back the same way twice.

The Craft Behind Every Piece
Every piece is hand block printed by artisans in Jaipur, India - a technique passed down through generations, done entirely by hand. A design is carved into a wooden block, dye is mixed and applied, and the block is pressed onto cotton one motif at a time, one colour at a time.
It’s slow. It’s imperfect in the most human way. And it means no two pieces will ever print exactly alike - which isn’t a flaw, it’s the point.
